Story number 3

When they weren't able to find the coggins on Friday, we went into manic WTF are we gonna do mode, because we really wanted him out of there ASAP.

I called HARP to see if they had any ideas, and not all that surprisingly, I hadn't said a half dozen words about the horse when she (and horribly enough, I never got the name of who I was speaking to, bad manners on my part) asked if he was the horse from craigslist.

She'd talked to the owner too. Owner told her that a guy dumped the horses on her property, along with two others he eventually picked up and that she'd had to go to the courthouse to get them legally turned over to her so she could sell them.

She'd come across well to HARP, she should have stuck with that story, it makes her sound not too bad. Of course, if she had, I would have asked to see those legal documents before purchasing the horse from her, so she couldn't go that route with a potential buyer.
