Test Results

Vet called this am w/ blood panel and urinalysis results- I was asleep when I answered so it wasn't the most informative conversation ever, but I got the gist of it (and will call her back to have her send me the actual results)- kidney function is fine, he's just a weirdo who likes to pee in front of people. Only thing off was his RBC count, which was low, but she said that's to be expected w/ the condition he's in and will resolve itself as I get him back in shape.

He was good today, bright eyed and peppy. Some buffalo had escaped the other night and had been corralled in the arena. I took Louvin by them when I was trotting him in hand up the lane, and we can add them to the list of things my last OTTB would have flown to the moon over that Louvin considers a bore. Also on this list are cows, donkies, barking dogs, car alarms and sirens. Louvin did look at the buffalo- just didn't react to 'em at all.
